The OYP score calculator provided by Hesapstan shows the historical score composition in YOK Faculty Member Training Program rules. It is not a current academic-staff application or official placement result.
How is the OYP score calculated?
The historical standard OYP score uses 50% of the ALES score, 35% of the undergraduate GPA on a 100-point scale and 15% of the foreign language score.
For the historical field-exam variant, the weights are 20% undergraduate GPA, 25% ALES, 40% field exam and 15% foreign language.
Historical scope
OYP practice and academic staff recruitment rules changed over time. This tool shows the archived/historical formula; current announcements and official eligibility rules must be checked separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if there is no foreign language score?
You may enter 0; the calculator applies the “if any” foreign-language component to the value entered.
When should the field-exam mode be used?
Use it only for the historical OYP cases where the YOK rules applied a separate field-exam score.
Is this an official placement score?
No. It shows the historical formula arithmetic only; official results and current rules must be checked from institutional sources.
