Provided by Hesapstan, this calculator compares a 0-5 year length or height measurement with WHO Child Growth Standards 2006 length/height-for-age LMS tables.

Measurement position

The WHO standard uses recumbent length for children under 24 months and standing height for children 24 months and older. The selected position is shown in the result.

How it works

The calculator finds the exact number of calendar days from birth to measurement, selects the WHO L, M and S values for that sex and age day, then applies the LMS z-score formula.

Medical safety

One measurement is not a diagnosis

Measurement technique, prematurity, illness, nutrition and growth velocity may require clinical assessment. This result does not replace pediatric follow-up.
